Please read these terms carefully before placing an order or using our website. By using smashitit.co.uk or purchasing from us you agree to be bound by these terms.
01 About Us
Smash-It-IT Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales, operating the website smashitit.co.uk. We specialise in custom-built gaming PCs, handcrafted in the UK.
02 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website, placing an order, or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or place an order. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
These terms apply to consumers and business customers alike. Where consumer protection law (such as the Consumer Rights Act 2015) provides additional rights, those rights are not affected by these terms.
03 Our Products & Services
We offer the following products and services via smashitit.co.uk:
- Custom-built gaming PCs — configured to your specification using premium components, hand-assembled and tested in the UK.
- Pre-built PCs — ready-to-ship systems from our current range.
- PC components and accessories — sold separately where listed.
- Technical support and repair services — available to customers as described at the time of purchase.
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend any product or service without prior notice. Descriptions, images and specifications on the website are for guidance only; minor variations may occur.
04 Ordering & Contract
Placing an order
When you submit an order via our website or by direct communication, you are making an offer to purchase. No contract exists until we issue a written order confirmation by email.
Order confirmation
Our confirmation email constitutes acceptance of your order and forms a binding contract between you and Smash-It-IT Ltd. Please check it carefully and contact us immediately if any details are incorrect.
Right to refuse
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion — for example, where a pricing error has occurred, stock is unavailable, or we suspect fraudulent activity. Any payment taken will be refunded in full.
Custom builds
Custom PC builds are made to your individual specification. Once a custom build has entered production, cancellations may not be possible or may incur a restocking or labour fee. See Section 8 for full details.
05 Pricing & Payment
- All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice; the price at the time of your order confirmation is the price you will pay.
- Payment is required in full at the time of ordering unless a finance arrangement has been agreed in writing.
- We accept payment via the methods listed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely by our payment provider.
- We do not store your card details. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
- Where finance options are offered, they are provided by a third-party lender and subject to their own terms and eligibility criteria.
06 Build Times & Delivery
Build times
Custom-built PCs have an estimated build time of up to 14 working days from receipt of cleared payment. This is an estimate and may vary depending on component availability and order volume. We will communicate any significant delays.
Delivery
- We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom.
- Delivery timescales and costs are displayed at checkout and confirmed in your order confirmation.
- Risk of loss and damage passes to you upon delivery. We recommend inspecting packaging upon receipt and noting any damage with the courier before signing.
- We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courier, adverse weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
07 Warranty
All custom-built PCs from Smash-It-IT Ltd are covered by a 2-year parts and labour warranty from the date of delivery, subject to the following conditions:
- The warranty covers manufacturing defects and component failures under normal use.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, unauthorised modification, overclocking beyond our recommended settings, liquid damage, or normal wear and tear.
- Before shipping, every build undergoes a 24-hour burn-in test to verify stability and performance.
- To make a warranty claim, contact us at service@smashitit.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue.
- We will repair or replace the faulty component at our discretion and aim to resolve warranty claims within a reasonable timeframe.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this warranty. You may have additional rights if goods are not as described, not fit for purpose, or not of satisfactory quality.
08 Returns & Cancellations
Consumer right to cancel (distance selling)
If you are a consumer purchasing a pre-built or in-stock product, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You must notify us in writing at service@smashitit.co.uk within this period.
Custom-built PCs
Custom-built PCs are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as they are made to your personal specification. However, if a custom build develops a fault, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and our warranty (Section 7) apply in full.
Returns process
- Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
- You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrectly described.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using your original payment method.
Faulty goods
If your product arrives damaged or develops a fault within 30 days of delivery, please contact us immediately. We will offer a repair, replacement or full refund as appropriate.
09 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smash-It-IT Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits or business interruption.
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant product or service.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10 Intellectual Property
All content on smashitit.co.uk — including text, images, logos, graphics, code and design — is the property of Smash-It-IT Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.
11 Website Use
You agree to use smashitit.co.uk only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the website in any way that violates applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems.
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material.
- Introduce viruses, trojans, worms or other malicious or harmful material.
- Reproduce or scrape website content for commercial purposes without permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the website for any user who breaches these conditions.
